Exports to Excel from Salesforce show no results?

When you export from Salesforce and the spreadsheet shows as blank / empty ...

Disable the Protected View setting within Excel:

  1. Open MS Excel
  2. Go to File > Options
  3. Click Trust Center (from the menu on the left)
  4. Click the 'Trust Center Settings' button
  5. Click Protected View (from the menu on the left)
  6. Remove the check mark next to "Enable Protected View for files originating from the internet"
  7. Click OK
Try again now.   :-)
